End-User License Agreement

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Unencumbered Interactive Private Limited ("Company," "we," or "us") for the use of the IYKYK app and any related services.

License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the IYKYK app on a compatible device that you own or control, subject to these terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use IYKYK. If you are between 13 and 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian. If we learn that a user is under 13, we will remove their account and delete their data.

Your Account

You sign in with your phone number, verified by a one-time password. You are responsible for your account and the activity on it. Keep access to your phone number and device secure, provide accurate information, and let us know right away if you think someone else has access to your account.

Please only create one account per person, and don't use someone else's account.

How IYKYK Works

IYKYK is an in-person game played by a group sharing one phone. While a round is running, the app records through the front camera and microphone. At the end of a round it takes photos with both cameras and builds a short clip from the round. You can then share that clip, or a link to the session.


Everything is captured live through the camera while you play. There are no uploads from your gallery or files.

Playing With a Group

IYKYK takes photos and records audio of everyone playing, not just the person whose phone it is. If you're the one starting the game, that makes you the one looking out for the room:

  • Let everyone know the app records audio during a round and takes photos of the group at the end of it.

  • Play with people who are happy to be in it. If someone would rather sit out, let them.

  • If someone asks you to take a clip down, take it down.


IYKYK is for playing with people, not for recording people who don't know they're being recorded.


Anyone who appears in a clip can ask us to remove it, whether or not they use IYKYK.

Your Content

You own the photos and clips created when you play. You give us the license we need to run the service — storing your content, processing it into clips, and delivering it to the people you play with and the people you share links with.


We will not post your clips publicly without asking. We will not use a clip of you on our social accounts, our website, or in any marketing unless you have given us permission for that specific clip through a clear choice in the app. You can decline, and declining changes nothing about how you use IYKYK.


We don't use your content for advertising and we don't sell it.


When you delete content, we remove it from our active servers. Content you have already shared may remain visible to people who received it, and any copy that has been saved or reposted elsewhere is outside our control.


All IYKYK branding, logos, and designs are our intellectual property. Please don't use them without our written permission.

Sharing and Links

When you share a session or clip, we generate a link. Anyone who has that link can open it, and anyone you send it to can pass it on — so send it to people you're happy to have see it.

Use Restrictions

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app. You may not modify or create derivative works based on the app, or share, distribute, or make the app available to third parties without our permission.

Community Guidelines

IYKYK has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Recording people who haven't agreed to be recorded.

  • Sharing a clip of someone after they have asked you not to.

  • Harassing, threatening, bullying, or intimidating anyone.

  • Sexually explicit content, especially anything involving minors.

  • Impersonating someone else or misrepresenting who you are.

  • Content that promotes violence, hatred, or illegal activity.

  • Spam or unsolicited messages.

  • Attempting to access other users' accounts or our systems without authorisation.

  • Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the service.

  • Interfering with the app's functionality or infrastructure.


We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms.

Reporting

If you appear in a clip you want removed, or you encounter objectionable content or abusive behaviour, you can report it from the app or from any shared clip page — you do not need an account to do so. We review reports and act on them within 24 hours.

Privacy and Data Use

Your use of IYKYK is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. The app requires access to your device's camera and microphone in order to work. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Updates and Changes

We may update the app from time to time. These updates may change or remove features. You agree to receive such updates automatically.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting us. We will process your data deletion in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


We may suspend or restrict your account if you violate these terms or engage in conduct harmful to other users, to people captured by the app, or to the community.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. We're always working to improve the experience, but we can't guarantee the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any damages resulting from your use or inability to use IYKYK, including direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, India.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Your continued use of IYKYK after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
